All-electric satellites are changing the way airline passengers access the internet. Like a Tesla in space, an all-electric satellite uses electric propulsion to climb from transfer orbit to geostationary orbit and to maintain its position on station, instead of the chemical rockets used by traditional satellites.
So what does all this mean for airline passengers? Lots more internet capacity, for one thing, with a capacity of 1.8Gbps to deliver in-flight entertainment and connectivity to commercial airlines across the Pacific Ocean. Read all about it here! #wifi #news

There are a lot of risks to the data on your phone! Studies show that the vast majority of Americans don’t avoid public Wi-Fi. A security firm set up fake Wi-Fi hotspots at the Republican National Convention with names ranging from “I VOTE TRUMP! FREE INTERNET” to more legitimate-sounding monikers like “ATTWifi at GOP.” According to Avast, 1,200 people logged into those fake hotspots — and 68.3 percent of them went on to conduct online activities that compromised their identities and data.

#news Bitcoin is a form of digital currency, created and held electronically. No one controls it, such as a bank or country. Bitcoins aren’t printed, like dollars or euros. Bitcoin can be used to buy things electronically. Only 21 million Bitcoins can ever exist.
Conventional currency has been based on gold or silver. However, Bitcoin isn’t based on gold; it’s based on mathematics. Around the world, people are using software programs that follow a mathematical formula to produce bitcoins. The mathematical formula is freely available, so that anyone can check it. Users can hold multiple bitcoin addresses, and they aren’t linked to names, addresses, or other personally identifying information, so it's somewhat anonymous. However, Bitcoin stores details of every single transaction that ever happened in the network in a huge version of a general ledger, called the blockchain. So, if you have a publicly used bitcoin address, anyone can tell how many bitcoins are stored at that address. They just don’t know that it’s yours. That’s why it has become the currency of choice for people online buying drugs or other illicit activities. Find out more about Bitcoin, on CNN Money and Here. The latest Windows 10 Creators Update offers a few enhancements to your privacy settings. But you have to turn some of them on in order for some of them to work! As with most of the privacy settings, enabling or disabling each one is a matter of creating a more personal or customized experience in Windows at the expense of sharing your actions and activities with Microsoft. You'll want to strike a balance between personalization and privacy. I suggest opting for privacy over personalization. Be sure to read the Privacy dashboard and the Privacy Statement on what data Microsoft collects and why before changing anything.
For details on what privacy setting to change, read this article.
